The original concept, over 30 years ago, was to "recreate" the 1940's-50's R&B radio show, while providing information, where possible. Sort of continuous "articles" presented by a "period-personality" disk jockey.
The shows were produced and hosted by G.M. Hooker (aka George Moonoogian) at WJZ in Haverhill, MA.

The G.M. Hooker Show was "simulcast" on WJZ and The Vocal Group Harmony Web Site bi-weekly from May 26, 2001 through July 19, 2003. The dates shown in blue had earlier shows that were used as "fill-ins."
